Nemak wins Supplier of the Year award from General Motors

Nemak  has been named GM Supplier of the Year for its outstanding performance as a supplier of cylinder heads and engine blocks in 2018.

For this year’s award, GM recognized its best suppliers from 15 countries which have consistently exceeded its expectations, created outstanding value or introduced innovations to the company.

As a 15-time winner, Nemak is one of the ten most recognized suppliers over this award’s 27-year history, out of GM’s more than 20,000 suppliers worldwide.

The Supplier of the Year award winners were chosen by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and logistics executives. Winners were selected based on performance criteria in Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.
