Windsor Aluminum Plant, a highly-automated casting manufacturing facility, was the first of its kind to launch the production of aluminum engine blocks derived from the Cosworth casting process.
In 1997, Windsor Aluminum Plant was the first foundry facility in North America to be accredited the ISO-14001 certification due to its leadership position in environment protection and policy. Sand reclaiming is built into the production process to allow postproduction sand being reused in the material stream in the forming of new sand cores.
