European Leadership Journey
24 Mid-Level Managers from BU Europe took part in the kickoff event of the Nemak Leadership Journey. The aims of this program are to systematically strengthen the leadership skills and to set a common leadership language across Nemak and across regions. The participants will finish their journey in 2020.
Another valuable aspect is to connect and pair managers from different countries and with different backgrounds (operations, sales, HR, purchasing, finance). The program is coordinated by Talent Development Europe and is being run with Global HR and CCL (Center for Creative Leadership).
It is the first time to establish a global standard for Leadership proficiency at Nemak. The program content is based and strongly linked to our Nemak Competencies. The key elements are: Key Leadership Challenge and Group Innovation Challenge - all items closely linked to actual job-related tasks and demands.
