Nemak USA is segment of Nemak Americas, comprising of a corporate office just outside of Detroit, Michigan, and manufacturing facilities in Wisconsin, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama. Our close proximity to North American customers lends itself well to our early involvement with product design, engineering, and testing. Our sales, advanced engineering, and product development teams work closely with our operations to produce primarily High Pressure Die Cast components to deliver customized products.

Nemak in Glasgow opened in 1993 and has approximately 250 employees working in two facilities in town. Our workforce is comprised of both skilled and unskilled labor that produces high pressure die cast (HPDC) aluminum castings. There are two manufacturing sites that house 14 HPDC Machines and over 60 CNC Machines that melt, cast, machine and assembly components for multiple automotive manufacturers.
Located in the heart of Barren County, Glasgow is a vibrant city with a rich cultural heritage. Glasgow has a population of about 15,000 people offering a mix of small-town feel with big-city amenities. Located in Southern Kentucky in the Caves and Lakes region, this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. Residents spend free time at countless national attractions including Woodland Park, Kentucky Museum, Glenview Church, and Mammoth Cave National Park. Glasgow is a short 30-minute drive to the city of Bowling Green—home to the National Corvette Museum—and easily accessible via the Nashville International Airport and Louisville International Airport.
Nemak KTY participates in multiple community involvement activities every year. Previous activities included Adopt-A-Road, Earth Day, Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, local Soup Kitchen, Food Drives and Local Sponsorships. In 2023, Barren County Chamber of Commerce awarded Nemak with the 2023 Community Impact Award for their contributions to the community through volunteering, donations and community engagement.
